An elderly couple, former landowners whose fortune was lost to political reforms in the 1970’s, are committed to recapture the splendor of their past by preparing their funeral as an act of social vengeance. A tenant of the elderly is having an intense, unpredictable love affair. Two children, are gradually drawn into a violent situation, created unintentionally by their grandmother, who is blind and obsessed by the idea of regaining her sight.
