JP has gained quite a following on the Internet filming his controversial anti-racist actions. Now he wants to go further and crown his activism and notoriety by organising the largest black protest march ever held in France. For this, he sets out to meet influential figures in the “community” to garner their support and favourable media coverage. But the lingering question is what really defines this black identity. Who has it, and who doesn’t? From Soprano to Stefi Selma, from malaise to altercation, JP’s journey tests the limits of the relationship between conviction and action, revealing his contradictions and taking the astounded and gleeful viewer with him.
