A small town in the south of Sri Lanka, nowadays: a young woman disguised as a man is working as an assistant mechanic in a garage. She is married to another woman. After she has an accident, her true gender is discovered by the doctor who examines her. The doctor does not reveal the woman’s secret as he plans to use his knowledge for his own benefit at an appropriate time in the future. However the woman’s reaction is one of increasing panic while the doctor is harassing her on the phone more and more often. At last, she cornes to visit him regularly at the clinic.
At the same time, a colleague in the garage who has gay inclinations follows her around and attributes those visits at the clinic to nothing but an unusual friendship with the doctor. This propels him to believe that he himself would have a chance of striking a gay relationship with his colleague. The protagonist has now to contend with the pressures put upon her by both the doctor and her colleague. She tries to reject both of them, but one day the doctor decides to reveal his well-kept secret to the owner of the garage…
