Emilia is celebrating her eighty-fourth birthday. Very moved, the old lady tells her family that her niece chose her as witness at her wedding… 1,500 kilometres away! For the long trip from Buenos Aires to Misiones, where she was born, Emilia wants all her family to accompany her, from her great-grandchildren to her daughters’cousins. How could anyone refuse? The whole family hits the road in a very old campervan. Four generations of adults and teenagers share the experience, discover each other and overcome resentment and frustration so that they can arrive in time for the wedding.
