Born in Quito, 1984. Lucía Romero studied Film at the National Arts University of Argentina (IUNA) and Cinematography at the School of the Argentinean Union of Film Technicians (SICA). She is a producer and partner of the company ALQUIMIA AUDIOVISUAL, with which she is producing Samson, Pavel Quevedo’s feature film. Currently she is developing her documentary film, Aqui-Ahora, about the creative process of the Ecuadorian band MUNN. She is also producing the distribution project of Ecuadorian short films, Leak Point. In 2013, she worked as producer on the feature film, Portröpolis (IBERMEDIA Development Award 2011). She produced and directed the short film Sed (Production Award of the National Film Board of Ecuador, CNCINE 2011) and worked as cinematographer on Pavel Quevedo Ullauri’s documentary film La Tola Box.
