Donald Charles is a Haitian director, production manager and producer, born March 22, 1976, married and father of two children. He studied film at the Cine Institute from 2008 to 2011. He produced his first feature film, Reincarnation, by Fréro Pierre while he was at the Institute. He is currently production coordinator of the production unit of the Cine Institute. He has been line producer for Film Master (Italy), Zadig Production (France) and Boulevard des Prod (France). He completed an internship at EyeSteelFilm in Canada and ARTE Journal in Strasbourg. He was resident at La Fabrique des Cinémas du Monde of the Cannes Festival 2013 with the film project, Carmen by Pierre Lucson Bellegarde. He participated in the 33rd Douarnenez Film Festival (France) as the director of short documentary on the earthquake in Haiti in January 2010.
