Kate Tessa Lee is born in Curepipe, Mauritius, in 1982. After the Rhode Island School of Design, USA, she traveled extensively and in those years, dedicated herself to video art and painting.
In 2018, Kate Tessa Lee and Tom Schön realised together the short film Sec Rouge. An ongoing scriptwriting-directing-editing collaboration from which Piqueuses is their debut feature.
